Bailey Ltd employs the service of two different couriers for the delivery of your goods; Royal Mail and TNT. The item being sent and it’s destination determines which courier will be used to despatch your goods; we always aim to use the most cost effective option to ensure we can keep our delivery costs as low as possible. If you have a preference on the courier please notify us at the time of order, however we cannot guarantee we will be able to accommodate your request.
Please note we are only able to give estimated delivery times if you opt for a premium service (i.e. pre-9am, pre-10am etc.). If the parcel is sent on a standard service the couriers we employ are unable to give ETA’s.
When ordering for delivery to BT postcodes please note that due to changes to the customs clearance procedures you may experience some delays with deliveries, which is unfortunately out of our control. You may also experience these delays when ordering for delivery outside of the UK.
We are able to offer International Deliveries. The delivery cost is calculated based on the weight and size of the parcel and it’s destination, so would need to be quoted on confirmation of your address and the items you would like to order. If you would like a no obligation quote, please contact us. Due to the sheer size of some of our products we are unable to give standard products to allow ordering via our website so please contact us for a quote.
If our customers received goods which are damaged, faulty or not fit for purpose we will of course replace these items. If an item is receive damaged the customer must notify us with 24 hours of receiving the goods. This can either by done via telephone on 01945 429100 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. We will require a photo of the damage to allow us to claim via our couriers, so if you are able to provide this at the time of notifying us of the damage it will help to speed up the process.
Goods Incorrectly Ordered or No Longer Required
If our customers wish to return an item that they ordered in error or no longer require they can do so within 28 days of the original order. The goods must be returned at the customer’s cost, and upon return of the goods to us in good condition we will then be able to issue a product refund. Please note this only applies to standard, ‘off-the-shelf’ items; any bespoke or made-to-order goods are non-returnable.
We offer a one (1) year guarantee on all of our light fittings. That means if a customer finds that one of their lights is no longer operational they can contact us within a year of the first purchase and be eligible for a refund.
This guarantees against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of ONE YEAR from the date of retail purchase. If a hardware defect arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, Bailey Ltd either (1) repair the hardware defect at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts, or (2) exchange the product with a product that is new or which has been manufactured from new or serviceable used parts and is at least functionally equivalent to the original product, or (3) refund the purchase price of the product. Bailey Ltd is not responsible for damage arising from failure to follow instructions relating to the product’s use.
This warranty does not apply: (a) to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, flood, fire, earthquake or other external causes; (b) to damage caused by operating the product outside the permitted or intended use; (c) to a product or part that has been modified to significantly alter functionality or capability without the written permission of Bailey Ltd If you have any questions regarding the above Guarantee please do not hesitate to contact the office on 01945 429100.
